Human Rights in Childbirth Conference

The Human Rights in Childbirth Global Conference in India – Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, 2-5 February, 2017.

This Conference helped evolve global maternity care policies and practices from the critical recognition that preventable maternal mortality is a human rights issue, toward recognition of the full spectrum of human rights at stake in childbirth.

Pinkathon 2015-2018

Pinkathon is India’s biggest women’s run to encourage women to make the choice of an active, healthy lifestyle & by example, inspire their families to do the same! Three years running, BBN organized a group of mums with babies in carriers to walk, showing that pregnant women and women with young babies can be active and engaged, especially when baby wearing!

The Bangalore Birth Network celebrates World Breastfeeding Week with a series of events conducted at different locations, for different audiences and using a variety of different mediums. Our audiences range from corporate organizations, research institutes, healthcare institutions and the general public. We hold didactic sessions, presentations, videos, role-plays and quizzes.
